Adrian Brown M.B.A., M.S., B.E. (hons) President, Principal Groundwater Engineer Adrian Brown is the President of Adrian Brown Consultants, which he founded in 1983. He is a groundwater engineer and specialist consultant in hydrology and earth mechanics, with over thirty years of experience in projects that have included groundwater hydrology, fate and transport of contaminants, surface water hydrology, dewatering design, nuclear waste containment, groundwater modeling, mine inflow, subsidence, environmental and hydrologic permitting, dam stability, slope stabilization, baseline monitoring, contaminant migration, aquifer restoration, site remediation, and computer program development. Adrian Brown has written 34 books, scientific papers and technical presentations, including, "Influence and Control of Groundwater in Large Slopes" (Stability in Surface Mining, 1981), and "Groundwater Quantity & Groundwater Quality" (Mining Environmental Handbook, Imperial College Press, 1997). He is also the author of many technical reports relating to the engineering and environmental work carried out by the firm, and has lectured on groundwater and environmental engineering worldwide. Mr. Brown is the principal consultant and president of the company, he has been involved in projects in North America, South America, Africa, Europe, Asia, and Australia. He holds patents for waste disposal systems, soil sparging, and soil vapor extraction, and developed the ABCFEM groundwater flow and solute transport computer program. He provides frequent expert witness testimony in litigation and regulatory hearings for major projects.
